More Artwork

I realized I hadn't updated in awhile so here is some artwork that I've worked on during the past few months.    The first is an illustration of the story of Icarus from the ancient Greek myth. The next two are some conceptual illustrations for a short film I am in the process of designing. The rest portraits I did for friends who requested them and I had a lot of fun doing.

Currently I am finishing work on a short animation for a Northern Indiana church and I am in the process of making a short film. However, I haven't done any sort of traditional keyframe animation since my last short film Midnight Snack. That was a long time ago...

To get myself back into the animation game I am working on a short cartoon about a frog. I'm hoping this will get the blood moving and will help me get back into the swing of things after a long absence from animating. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the artwork.

New Artwork

I haven't my site in awhile. I've been getting more into illustration lately and these are some of my latest drawings. I think I did most of these over the course of one week. Two of these pieces (The night time landscape with fireflies and the comic at the bottom) came from my own imagination while the rest were commissioned by my dear friends after I asked online if any of them had drawing requests. Most of them asked for portraits of themselves in different situations while others asked for epic battle scenes or something as simple as a sheep. I really enjoy drawing for people and I love seeing their excitement (or reading their excitement) when I reveal what I've drawn for them. And I REALLY enjoy drawing for my friends for no reason other than just simply appreciating their friendship. I'm in the business of making people smile and it's amazing. And I want to keep getting better it too.

Check out my new webcomic!

I'm posting a link to my new webcomic that launched last Wednesday. It can be found at... http://flabmanandtwig.blogspot.com/

Flabman and Twig is a weekly comic strip that follows two amateur professional superheroes as they go about their daily lives and occasionally fight crime.

Inspired by the typical Sunday comic strips found in the newspaper, Flabman and Twig is intended to provide short bursts of entertainment while giving something for viewers to look forward to on a weekly basis. My goal is that people will enjoy the wacky tales of this dorky duo and find them fun to read!

Check it out! And if you like reading about the Misadventures of Flabman and Twig check back every Wednesday for new comics!
